Come and explore Thetford Forest - Our luxury shepherds hut and stables are located on the edge of 47,000 acres of Thetford Forest - right on your doorstep!
The Hut
A luxury Shepherds hut - featuring a double bed & single camp bed. Complete with TV & internet access for Netflix etc, WIFI, table & bench, kitchenette with mini fridge and a Ninja Foodi! (Get creative with 8 cooking functions – Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Grill, Dehydrate, Toast, Bagel and Keep Warm!) ... or see below for food options if you don't fancy cooking!
There is an electric radiator and also a log burner!
The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink - just remember your towels!
The Stables
Look out of the hut and you will see your ponies! Two large stables plenty big enough for those larger equines!
With an adjacent field for your horses, water buckets and mucking out utensils provided - just remember your hay!
The Riding
Come and explore the corridors of Thetford Forest. With direct access across the road, you will have HOURS of hacking at your finger tips!
Thetford Forest is known for its sandy soil, so foot perfect all year round!
You can follow some of my previously ridden routes on Strava or Outdoor Active apps or ask if I am available for a guided tour!
There are PLENTY of long, grassy gallop stretches!
You could also box up and head to Holkham Beach which is about an hours drive! The BEST beach to ride on!
Browns - Mundford
Your Go-To for breakfast, brunch or lunch! Whether you choose to eat in or take-away, this is your best bet for bacon sandwiches and all things yummy!

The Elveden Inn - Elveden
The pub of all pubs - this is my personal favourite! A gastro pub using locally sourced produce from the Elveden Estate farm and wild countryside wherever possible.

Il Salvatore - Brandon
An Italian restaurant, which is so much more than just pizza & pasta! If you fancy an amazing meal and some crazy cocktails, this is your place! Just take a look at some of their cocktails here!

Thetford Garden Centre
Now this is a nice little treat - combine your food trip with a little bit of retail therapy!
At the garden centre, not only do you have the Lime Kiln Kitchen, you also have their Norfolk Pizza co hut & pancake and waffle shacks out the back ... these are seasonal though so do check before you head off for that pancake!
Take-Aways
The best way to order take-aways here is via Just-Eat
If you want pizza, it's got to be Jean Paul Pizzeria - sourdough bases, yum!
Fancy chinese? Kings Garden is your place!
Best Indian? It's got to be Thetford Raj!
